Our Story

Our History

In 1991, in a small shack located in the Peelamedu region of Coimbatore city, Rydon Group began its operations. Our small firm was then a manufacturer of Air Compressors. As business and manufacturing acumen began to mature in the ranks, we began manufacturing automobile sprockets as well.

It was around that time that we decided on what has become a core belief: long term relationships with select clientele were the way forward to embrace growth. This fundamental concept has been the basis of our consistent growth over the past two decades, when we progressed from making 25000 sprockets a year, to 4,000,000 sprockets a year.

Today, we stand tall as a multi-million dollar, multi-business group with multiple manufacturing plants boasting of manufacturing expertise. As we offer several product/service lines and plan for more launches in the near future, we can assure you:

You can never go wrong with Rydon!

At least that's what TUV believed when they accorded us the ISO 9001:2008 certification. So also with SMERA when they rated us at SMERA C3.

We are backed by our experiential knowledge, and we value our own reputation. So rest assured we will not fail you. To us, that would mean failing ourselves.

Our Locations

The Rydon group is based in the Manchester of South India – Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu State). The city is an industrial hub of South India, with a large number auto ancillary, foundry, textile, valve and pump industries basing themselves here.

This has led to the maturing of the manufacturing ecosystem in the region. Equipped with an international airport, the city is well connected to other industrial centres and ports of South India by an extensive network of world class highways and railway. The 30 engineering colleges in the city assure the availability of trained technocrats in plenty for the industry.
